The snooze button, of course, is for you to repeat the alarm in a short while if you want to sleep in for a few minutes more. Most clock radios are also powered with batteries so that the clock continues to work even when the main power plug is pulled out. This saves you the hassle of resetting the clock.

There is no limitation as far as design is concerned with these clock radios; various options are available in terms of colour, shape and size. Many now use digital radio tuners. The brightness of the radio tuner screen is adjustable. Most modern clock radios are not expensive and are very durable. They are a feature of many bedrooms and are especially popular with young people.
