Eastpak is a Belgium based company that produces stylish and tough packs and bags. This global brand also produces a range of apparel and accessories that offer great value for money.

The company was founded as Eastern Canvas Products in 1960 by Monte Goldman to supply knapsacks and duffel bags to the armed forces. Since the bags were made for the armed forces, they were tough and durable. Goldman’s son Mark saw many students using these army bags as school packs. He convinced his father to manufacture a different line of bags for such purposes. Thus Eastpak was born, selling a line of stylish yet functional bags for college and university students.

The philosophy adopted for the Eastpak line of bags was “Built to Resist”. With the new line of bags for a young audience, the company began experimenting with bold, vibrant colours and eclectic, wild prints. Eastpak was the first to use Cordura to make the bags and packs tougher and longer lasting. Soon the Eastpak name had acquired a cult standing among young people and this encouraged the company to add to its range. Soon accessories and clothing were added to the bag collections. Eastpak gives a 30 year warranty on most of its standard packs and luggage.

Ergonomically designed, made from durable fabrics and with special technical features, the Eastpak range includes Hot Stuff, Sports and Action, Girls’ Backpacks, Shoulder Bags, Luggage Wheels, Carry Ons and Laptop bags. In the men’s apparel range, there are various jackets, hooded and zipped up, which are ideal for a sporty look. In the women’s apparel range, Eastpak offers snug-fitting classic jeans with detailing on the pockets, and slick and slim-fitting sports jackets with hoods. These garments are lightweight and versatile and can work for evenings out as well as looking sporty.

Eastpak regularly supports different rock groups – one of them being Swedish punk rockers Millencloin.
