The American situation comedy series, Seinfeld, is a popular television show. Seinfeld is about the lives of a group of friends of Jerry Seinfeld, the central character. Though the Seinfeld show originally was telecast on NBC for nine seasons, from July 5, 1989, to May 14, 1998, it remains popular even today as is evident from the sales of its DVDs.
