The section nearest to the bull’s-eye provides triple scoring points, while the other section only provides double points.
Darts can be made from nickel silver, brass, tungsten, copper or plastic. The weight of a single dart is preferably between 19 and 24 grams. These darts have tails, which stabilize the flight of the dart when it is thrown. The darts also have shafts that provide support to the body. Usually, these shafts are manufactured using plastic or aluminium.
The standard rule says that the dart board should be set up at 5 feet, 8 inches above the ground. The players need to stand 7 feet, 9.5 inches away from the dart board when throwing. The players get turns throwing three darts each and the darts are removed once the player’s turn is over. There are many popular games that can be played using dart boards.
