Established more than ten years ago, the Bear Factory is a retail toy store selling stuffed animals. Acquired in 2006 by the Build-A-Bear Workshop, the Bear Factory has toys that are very popular with tiny tots. Located on the St. Charles Main Street, Bear Factory allows kids to create their own stuffed animals and toys using the directions given for the same. Once the animals are stuffed, they are hand sewn by the staff. A typical toy bear can stand seven inches tall when stuffed. The children get to carry the Bear Factory stuffed animals in a carry box. A birth certificate is also provided for the animals from Bear Factory.
The entire stuffing of animals in the Bear Factory is a worthwhile experience to watch and children like to see their toys being stuffed right before them.
