The Disney Princesses are all fictional characters and were chosen as they suited the “princess mythology” as envisaged by the Disney executives. The name “Disney Princess” has been given to the fictional characters Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine. All these dolls have a royal connection either by birth or by marriage. The recent addition to this group of six Disney Princesses has been Mulan and Pocahontas.
