Assassin’s Creed is a third-person stealth game developed for the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, and the Microsoft Windows platform. The game offers a thrilling game play right from start to finish. Not only children but also adults enjoy running over the city across rooftops, hearing stunning sound effects in the background, and witnessing lots of amazing onscreen action while playing the game.
The Assassin’s Creed video game was designed and developed in 1997 by Ubisoft, a company based in Montreal. After its successful release in 1997, an updated version of the game was released on February 5, 2008, which was named Assassin’s Creed: Altaïr’s Chronicles.
Assassin’s Creed is based on the role of Altaïr ibn La-Ahad. Altaïr ibn La-Ahad is a member of the assassin’s brotherhood and of Hashshashin. In Assassin’s Creed, Hashshashin is not allied to either the Saracens or the Templars during the reign of the Third Crusade. Assassin’s Creed ends once the player assassinates nine historical figures at different levels of the game, in order to bring peace to the Holy Land during the Crusades in 1191.
The Assassin’s Creed video game is set in the three holy cities of Acre, Jerusalem and Damascus. Each city in Assassin’s Creed is shown as heavily populated. As the player moves ahead he meets Altaïr ’s people who respond in logical ways.
In the game, the player makes use of stealth as a weapon and a number of other intelligence gathering methods to collect information on the next target. These methods may include pickpocketing, forceful interrogation or eavesdropping to continue to the next level and win the game.
At the beginning of Assassin’s Creed, the player is familiarised with how to identify enemy guards and security alerts in the local area. In addition to this, the player uses several low-profile and high-profile commands to play Assassin’s Creed. Low-profile commands allow alert levels to be reduced or increased, and allow the player to quietly pass through the city crowd and mix with the local people. High-profile commands are designed in a way that can easily be noticed and include actions such as attacking foes, climbing to a high vantage point and running away from the spot in focus.
Assassin’s Creed is full of endless entertaining features, which keep the player engaged to the game.
