The game controllers comprised an analogue stick, a digital cross pad, a digital trigger, about half a dozen face buttons and a couple of shoulder buttons.

The Nintendo 64 processor uses a 32KB L1 cache memory instead of an L2 cache. A unified memory subsystem was implemented in the Nintendo 64, and there were no separate memory slots for audio or video. In order to provide a peak bandwidth of 562.5 MB/sec, the system is equipped with 4MB of RAMBUS RDRAM, which can be expanded to 8MB as required. The Nintendo 64 processor provides two types of video options – composite and s-video. Nintendo 64 games are popular all over the world with children and adults alike, especially games like GoldenEye 007, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario 64.
